NPOV

[edit]

No talk yet? I'm wondering why this page is empty. I didn't add the NPOV tag, but I do agree with whoever did. I tried to add more relevant information about how successful the Mariners were under Gillick to balance some of the criticism. But the only thing I took out was the assertion that payroll doubled, which appears to be untrue according to the USA Today salary database. They have it increasing 67% fro 1998 to 2003, in line with the rest of baseball, and the 7th highest in baseball both years. Acerimusdux 06:07, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the tag, since the person who added it did not, as you say, comment on this page. However, I've also removed some unsourced commentary. All of the information in the article, and particularly anything controversial, should be ascribed to reliable sources. Chick Bowen 02:46, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
