Location
[edit]I've searched the homepage and could not find any information about the location of that center. Its an institute of a public university. Can anybody help? G****e maps can't find it, too. Horst Emscher (talk) 16:06, 11 January 2023 (UTC) I've found 101 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, D.C., District of Columbia, USA, but can't confirm that. Can anybody have a look? Classified documents
[edit]I have concerns about WP:WEIGHT for this section. It is more than a third of the entire body of the article (not including the lead). There is another article on this topic. I think much of the content here can go in that article if it's not already there. Note that I'm not trying to minimize the importance of this topic, but this article is about the PBCDGE center, not the documents. Sundayclose (talk) 23:18, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Name of the center
[edit]The article does not explain what the name means or how it came to be. I came here to find out what the word „Penn“ in the name of the center means. It is not mentioned anywhere and it is not obvious for people not familiar with the matter.
I found the word Pennsylvania mentioned in the article and took a wild guess it might be some sort of abreviation and eventually found out it is some sort of nickname for the university of Pennsylvania. Maybe that is totally obvious for people from certain areas but definitely not for everyone. Since this is an encyclopedia shouldn’t there be an explanation for the name? 2A01:598:88B8:ED13:9D62:EA03:500B:36E9 (talk) 23:39, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
Biden could not have use Penn Biden office when VP.
[edit]The Article says that Biden "had classified documents in the office he used as VP" in the center, this couldn't have been so as the Penn Biden center opened in 2018 and Biden left office in 2017. An edit is needed to the section to fix this issue. 71.234.88.242 (talk) 22:14, 14 January 2023 (UTC)
China money
[edit]"Chinese donations to Penn Biden Center are a 'dark-money nightmare,' says NLPC chairman"
has been changed to
"Chinese donations to UPenn are a ‘dark-money nightmare,' says NLPC chairman"
says Fox News[1]
Editor's note: a previous version of this article stated that payments from anonymous Chinese sources were made directly to The Penn Biden Center. However, payments were sent to the University of Pennsylvania which owns The Penn Biden Center. The article and headline were changed to reflect this.
But not before the network reported Penn Biden got $30+ million from the Chinese Communist Party.[2] Despite the online correction, expect this bogus allegation to keep popping up for the next decade or two. soibangla (talk) 18:01, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
