Duke of Sussex

[edit]

I think it may be incorrect that the Duke of Sussex ceased to be a Personal Aide de Camp in 2021. The Buckingham Palace statement does not specifically mention it, it is a personal appointment, and unlike the coloncies, can't be redistributed to other members of the family. I believe he remained an ADC(P) until the death of HM The Queen 2401:7000:D8D2:7000:B89A:4486:66BE:6BEA (talk) 10:16, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, though the fact that he was not permitted to wear the aiguillettes and "EIIR" insignia for the Lying in State of Her late Majesty suggests that those in the Palace think otherwise. This may be a case of incorrect advice having been given. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ncox001 (talkcontribs) 10:25, 17 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
