Longest Formula One track

[edit]

Recent edits have changed the statement that this was the longest circuit to ever to stage a Formula One Grand Prix to only being second longest (after Nürburgring). Although the combined Nürburgring circuit of Nordschleife + Südschleife was longer, I'm pretty sure that they never ran any Formula One races on that track configuration. I think all Formula One races at Nürburgring between 1950 and 1976 used only the Nordschleife (22.8 km), which would mean that Pescara (25.8 km) actually was the longest. Revert?
