Regarding WikiProject Poland

[edit]

Marcelus, why did you answer No, and it's not your call when I gave you the quote from WP:PROJSCOPE: If an article is only tangentially related to the scope of a WikiProject, then please do not place that project's banner on the article. For example, washing toys for babies reduces transmission of some diseases, but the banners for WP:WikiProject Health and fitness, WP:WikiProject Biology, (...) and/or WP:WikiProject Medicine do not need to be added to Talk:Toy.? You don't WP:OWN this article and adding WikiProject Poland to the talk pages of historical Lithuanian figures that are only tangentially related to Poland/Poles goes against Wiki policy. You're already part of WP:LITHUANIA which already covers this article, there's no need to add another WikiProject you're in. Cukrakalnis (talk) 20:16, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Cukrakalnis Topic is relevant for the Wikiproject:Poland, because it's directly related to the Glinciszki massacre. I hope you understand Marcelus (talk) 20:24, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please explain why you rated it C-class instead of B-class like the article is rated in other WikiProjects? Cukrakalnis (talk) 22:16, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

@Iazyges, considering your edit on August 5, what is lacking in structure? I would like to know in order to improve the article. Cukrakalnis (talk) 16:37, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Cukrakalnis: The issue is primarily in the shortness of the lede; per long-standing consensus, an article fails B3 if it has a single-sentence lede. Happy to re-assess when that is expanded. Iazyges Consermonor Opus meum 16:43, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Iazyges, Thank you for your clarity :) I have expanded the lede to four sentences instead of one. Cukrakalnis (talk) 16:58, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
