Question

[edit]

As with the Chonburi page, we really need to discuss whether/how to present these statistics on Wikipedia so that redundant numbers aren't duplicated all over the place. --Paul_012 (talk) 19:05, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

SietsL (talk) 08:33, 2 October 2019 (UTC)Paul, you talk about "redundant numbers".[reply]
I point out the following:
Provincial articles never mention the top echelon of the local government. As an example: Phitsanulok provincial administrative organization (PPAO) and Chonburi provincial administrative organization (CPAO).
Eight districts in Phitsanulok province do not mention the SAO's/TAO's.
Soon there will be elections for the local gevernments:

  • 76 chairmen for PAO's and 1,910 council members
  • 30 chairmen for thesaban nakhon and 655 council members
  • 179 chairmen for thesaban mueang and 2,969 council members
  • 2,233 chairmen for thesaban tambon and 25,056 council members
  • 5,332 chairmen for tambon adminstrative organizations and 104,087 council members

If you take this into account, the conclusion may be: local government in provincial articles are underexposed and/or undervalued.
Suggestion is to split the two articles into: Phitsanulok provincial government and Phitsanulok local government and Chonburi provincial government and Chonburi local government.
