I should add this notice hear although it is posted elsewhere:

The Playboy Cyber Club, Playboy Online, Playboy.com and several related pages such as Cyber Girl of the Year, Cyber Girl of the Month & Cyber Girl of the Week have been the subjects of multiple Article for Deletion campaigns. All editing of this page should be done under the philosophy that this page is on probation. Thus, the pages being relisted here are done so with the following guidance:

Do not add comprehensive Cyber Girl of the Month or Cyber Girl of the Week lists on any of these pages or create any pages with such lists. Until such time as it becomes common to recognize monthly award winners it is not appropriate. As a guide I would suggest monitoring the 4 major professional sports. None of them currently have Player of the Week articles with comprehensive listings. In fact, only 1 of the 4 major sports lists even half of its monthly honorees. Baseball lists its Player of the Month, but not its Pitcher of the Month awardees. There is no official policy, but since the posting of such lists has met repeated consistent opposition, it makes sense to follow the standards elsewhere on wikipedia. I would suggest not attempting to create any such lists unless 3 of the four major sports list their players of the month. Even then I would do so with trepidation and take great pains to explain why any such attempt has become appropriate. Likewise, I would only attempt to post weekly honorees if there ever comes a day when Player of the week listings become relevant and important enough to merit articles. Furthermore, I would not take any pains to create such major league pages before it truly embodies the prevailing sentiment and atmosphere to include them. It would be suspicious for these pages to be created and no such pages to be created for monthly honorees from other sports or from collegiate sports. It would probably be perceived as some sort of backdoor manipulation of the system.

Do not attempt to make any of these pages pictorials. There is great annoyance among the majority of wikipedians who voice their opinions on such matters that porncruft appears on these types of pages. An obligatory head shot or two may be approriate do not add any photos for mature audiences, which will probably be deleted from the server.

Do not attempt to make notoriety references for adult film industry roles or popularity. Such references will be removed. Do not attempt to cruft popularity by saying so and so was in a movie you have heard of. Notoriety should be limited to prominent (definition to be determined by consensus) roles, which for now will be defined as listed in opening credits. [edit]

An image used in this article, File:Playboyscreenshot.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 28 November 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review
