Ratings discussion
[edit]Broccoli, look at this [1], it says Cosby fell from No 1 to No 13 this week, "NBC faced a slip by The Bill Cosby Show from No. 1 to No. 13", and the list at the bottom has Policewoman Centerfold as No. 1 for the week, e.g., article says "NBC still had No. 1 with its Sunday night movie Policewoman Centerfold." Here's another source [2] ("The No. 1 show was "Policewoman Centerfold," which proves that titles are successful teases even when the movie is a rerun. The show didn't have any big-name stars and wasn't nominated for any Emmys after it aired in October 1983. It didn't have any centerfold photos either, which millions of viewers found out again Sunday night"). If you look at Wikipedia:List_of_U.S._television_ratings_archives you'll see that Cosby won or tied for the weeks on either side of this week. But you did make me wonder "hmm, why was Cosby so low this week", and I found out! Thursday that week was July 4 (American Independence Day), so Cosby had its lowest rating of the season -- 13.3 NOT the 19.3 you maybe saw somewhere else. see this [3]. --Milowent • hasspoken 18:56, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
- I saw, that's why I undid my edit (that and because the fact that Tvtango can be unreliable sometimes, but not regarding situations like this).BBC, Broke my Knee, Turtle Pee 19:44, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
