Fair use rationale for Image:Posteitaliane.gif
Image:Posteitaliane.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:07, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

This article is not neutral. The first part looks like a promo, then there is that sentence about critics on slow service. Well, in the last years the Italian postal service works very well and I think critics like those are common to all postal services of the world and they shouldn't be reported in an encyvlopedia article. --Easyboy82 08:08, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Horrible article - reads like a promo piece, absolutely no critical/outside views. Badly needs work. exolon 18:17, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
i agree more information on the service is needed. the last years postal service does not work very well at all. seeing as they rake in a revenue of billions of euro i'd like to know where all that money goes seeing as they don't have professional service. -Carolynn- Rome, Italy January 2011
"The ability to manage complex outsourcing processes" sounds like something that needs a citation, given that they're barely able to deliver the mail, and in any event reads like promo material. Davidnwelton (talk) 09:40, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

Quality of English
To me it seems like this article is the result of an unedited output from Google Translate. 31.51.141.1 (talk) 03:10, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

Removal of advertisements
Several parts in the latter half of the document where the recent history and current financial/postal services are discussed reads like an advert, with a focus on investor return, earnings, and lists of offered products written in a tone which suggests it is to advertise services (and may have originally been sourced from the company website). I have removed this information, including detailed information about the services offered by the company where this is not relevant to the article. (E.g., those parts focusing on "the spread of e-commerce" where the intent appears to be to promote the services, and references to a "proprietary multichannel distribution system").
I think some more work is still needed - this isn't well cited, and I cannot review the Italian information for this source directly. May be scope to slim down this article further if there are more advertisement sections that can be removed. ConM1881 (talk) 22:55, 8 December 2022 (UTC)
- Additional company advertisement statements not relevant to the article removed include the section on the company's internal ethical guidance, and moving information about the COVID-19 pandemic to the 2015-Present history section, removing the company mission statement (under "Purpose").
