Public Service Announcement (disambiguation) → Public Service Announcement – Per WP:DIFFCAPS and everything else (other than the common term heard on social media) is written that way in the dab page. To make it clear, the term 'public service announcement' has a primary topic but 'Public Service Announcement' doesn't. JuniperChill (talk) 11:58, 27 September 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. - Support per WP:DABNAME, the generic meaning has 5,990 views but the song has 722, the album has 20, Public Service Announcement Tour has 616 and The Marshall Mathers LP has 24,784[[1]] so its quite possible someone searching in title case wants a proper noun and will have the generic topic at the top of the DAB if they still want it. - Support per nom and above comment. Station1 (talk) 19:25, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. The generic topic is the primary topic. Note that "Public Service Announcement" sometimes appears capitalized, see e.g. [2], [3], [4]. (Such usage isn't the way Wikipedia interally would write it, but that's not relevant to the primary topic analysis.) Whether the words are capitalized or not doesn't clearly and unambiguously indicate distinct topics here. The other topics have neither the views nor long term significance. In particular the ~30s intro to an LP, with no article of its own (for good reason), gets very little weight in my view. Adumbrativus (talk) 22:31, 3 October 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose per Adumbrativus. Readers are unlikely to make the distinction. — BarrelProof (talk) 20:39, 4 October 2024 (UTC)
- Support per WP:DIFFCAPS. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 10:38, 5 October 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per Adumbrativus and BarrelProof. DIFFCAPS only applies if readers reliably and consistently distinguish the topics by capitalisation, but given uses of the generic concept in the real world do not have a consistent capitalisation we cannot presume that readers do. - Oppose for clarity. The purpose of disambiguation is to help our users not to cater to the smugness of Wikipedia insiders who've read all the guidelines. DIFFCAPS is ambiguous in any case. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:13, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. The generic term is often capitalized, probably because it is also known by its acronym. Dekimasuよ! 05:11, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
