Is RFA One a two-stage-to-orbit launch vehicle?

[edit]

Is RFA One a two-stage-to-orbit launch vehicle with a kick-stage for orbital transfers? Or is it a three-stage-to-orbit launch vehicle? The sources and company statements do not make it entirely clear. N2e (talk) 11:13, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Or is "kick stage" a euphemism to avoid calling it the upper (third) stage? (on this and other rockets), that would increase the number of rocket configurations (2, 3 -staged varieties; like the boat-load of Delta II configurations). If the kick stage is not available for other rockets, like a PAM (payload assist module) from the old Shuttle days that could be mounted atop any EELV or in the Shuttle bay, then wouldn't it just be a nominal third stage? -- 64.229.88.34 (talk) 04:52, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The infobox should be converted from a custom wikitable to {{Infobox rocket}} -- 64.229.88.34 (talk) 04:46, 30 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
