Orphaned references in Red Coat Trail
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Red Coat Trail's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 03:58, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:AB-Queen Elisabeth.png
[edit]The image File:AB-Queen Elisabeth.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.
The following images also have this problem:

History
[edit]The history is one massive paragraph. It's need to be separated into sections or at the very least, multiple paragraphs. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 18:08, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
Boundary Commission Trail
[edit]The historical information needs to be reworked. In fact, the Red Coat Trail and Boundary Commission Trail appear to be variants of the same trail. I do believe this article needs to be reviewed by a expert in the subject matter.Rkehler3 (talk) 02:22, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
Origin
[edit]Unless I have missed it, nowhere does the article say when the label Red Coat Trail was invented, why it was invented, and why that particular term was chosen. Since there is a discrepancy between the red coat trail promoted by the tourist industry and the route taken by the NWMP, what exactly is the topic of the article and in particular the history.
