Red Colored Elegy Music
[edit]There is big hit single related to Red Colored Elegy by Morio Agata the bad is that we will have hell time to find RS to this one. I did some research on amazon.co.jp. Need to dig it. Not RS material but still enjoyable a vid of Morio Agata singing his hit. --KrebMarkt 11:42, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
- We could just mention that there was a single made due to the popularity of the manga. Btw, how is Bill Randall's blog RS? Extremepro (talk) 11:47, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
- You missed the previous episode ;)
- It happen that Bill Randall reviewed Red Colored Elegy for the Comics Journal issue #292. His additional blog comments should be viewed as a complement of that review. --KrebMarkt 12:50, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
Ok, using the OVA website, we can assert the existence of the song thanks to detailed staff description. Unfortunately we are going to fail to prove that it was a hit. According to the Ja wiki, 1972 in Japan music, it ranked 37th (single chart?) for that said year. --KrebMarkt 03:56, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- If it was ranked then it should be on the Oricon charts. Try there. Extremepro (talk) 11:33, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- Found that the single was released as an album in 2004 here but no rankings ><". Extremepro (talk) 11:58, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- This is a best Box set with 3 CDs that was unlikely to make it into the charts. The higher price + demographic targeting the +50 years olds did not help.
- Not sure we will find anything about the 1972 release because Intel was just at its beginning with the Intel 8086 released in 1971. So the data were not stored on what we call know a computers :( I will still try to dig something --KrebMarkt 15:12, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Found that still not the half million claimed by Morio Agata article. --KrebMarkt 19:04, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
