This review is in the special situation that it has been nominated by a user who is now indefinitely blocked. I am therefore forced to fail the article if a copyedit by myself cannot solve all issues. A copyedit has been done, however there are two main concerns which remain:

  • The history section is not comprehensive enough. In particular, more about the planning should be included, including considerations of why the route was chosen, any mayor issues that arose etc. It is difficult for me to consider what exactly is available in the sources, but since 1970s The Washington Times references are being used, it seems natural that the author would have access to more references.
  • Parts of the history section are unreferenced. - fixed
  • The list of stations should be converted to a table and include "key facts" (date of opening, distance or time from mile zero, fare zone, transfer stations, etc.)
Embedded lists are allowed by the GA criteria. WikiProject Washington Metro chose to use lists rather than tables. Racepacket (talk) 20:06, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Overall, I am therefore failing the article. Arsenikk (talk) 11:09, 6 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
