[edit]This stub is mixing information from the Old Reedy Island Range with information from the New Reedy Island Range. In 1904 the names of the ranges were changed when the new Reedy Island Range was created causing confusion then, and now. For more information please see http://www.lighthousefriends.com/light.asp?ID=457 . Note that information regarding which range was renamed "Baker Range" may be wrong (also see link given below).
The present Reedy Island Rear Range light is still in operation and is located in the village of Taylors Bridge, DE. The lighthouse keeper's house at this location was destroyed by fire on 4/6/2002.
The present Reedy Island Front Range light is located approximately 2.8 miles distance on a bearing of about 11.3 degrees true in what is now the Appoquinimink Wildlife Area at the edge of the Delaware river.
The lighthouse that was once located in Port Penn, DE was the rear range of the Old Reedy Island Range. The original lighthouse keeper's dwelling still stands. The Old Reedy Island Front Range light was located on Reedy Island.
Apparently, the light that is on Reedy Island is now called the Baker Front Range light and may possibly be the same light at the same location as the Old Reedy Island Front Range light. See http://www.lighthousefriends.com/light.asp?ID=885 for more information.
Any comments will be much appreciated.

- Yes, this is completely messed up. There is still an Old Reedy Island Light, which is actually in the bay south of what remains of Reedy Island. It does not function as a range light and has nothing at all to do with the present range. Mangoe (talk) 21:14, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
