Big Sexy

[edit]

I know it's a point of some contention, but he really does get called Big Sexy. In any broadcast of a Mariners game, Dave Niehaus calls him Big Sexy at least once. --Llewdor 00:41, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Edits

[edit]

I removed a lot of text because I thought it was nonencyclopedic/mundane (batting averages and strikeouts for every season he has played - if a reader is interested, his stats are available almost anywhere and linked to in the article), or overly deferential/POV (Sexson will try to improve this year, Sexson only got a small fine, etc.). --Beaker342 19:38, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Under "Richie Sexson is..." it doesn't say "Richie Sexson is a bum." WHy is this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.118.56.110 (talk) 13:47, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I changed the text that reflected the fact that the Yankees cut him, but some douche changed it back, keep living the lie. Look at the yankees current roster newbs i swear if it gets changed again i lose faith in Wiki in general —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.105.239.206 (talk) 10:26, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He was designated for assignment. He is not a free agent. Read up on what that means. JustSomeRandomGuy32 (talk) 16:30, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Windy City ThunderBolts

[edit]

Based on an article posted on October 26, 2023, Sexson is no longer the ThunderBolts' field manager. He stepped down and got replaced by Bobby Jenks. I made a few edits to reflect that. CiposFriend (talk) 16:15, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
