Cover
[edit]The cover has been changed. The cover for the picture vinyl and vinyl is now this: http://www.amazon.com/Ride-Remixes-Explicit/dp/B00A4A2Z90/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1354805983&sr=8-4&keywords=lana+del+rey+ride teammathi (talk) 15:00, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- The link provided is for the remix EP, not the actual single. The same source of Amazon.com verifies that the current artwork is the official single cover. iTunes also displays this same artwork for the single. You may add the alternate cover with the {{Extra album cover}} template. However, it is likely that the cover will be deleted, after the controversy we've had with the The Paradise Edition's artwork. See "Naughty Naughty" for an example on how to format this type of thing. --Thevampireashlee (talk) 18:13, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- No, it's also now the cover for the single. The "Ride" vinyl single is a picture disc with that picture of Del Rey with the American flag on it: http://www.hhv.de/shop/en/item/lana-del-rey-ride-298541. teammathi (talk) 18:39, 6 December 2012 (UTC)
- I think it would be inappropriate to replace the current single cover with this new one. It seems, however, that the single cover you provided only applies to the Remix EP and also appears on the vinyl record itself. It still doesn't mean that it's the official single artwork however. --Thevampireashlee (talk) 00:08, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

Review
[edit]- Prose comments
The prose needs work. I found several non-compliant prose issues through the article, and here are a few examples only from the composition section:
- "composed in the indie pop, soul pop, and baroque pop genres"
- "Del Rey sings lines such as,"
- "The song opens with an audible inhalation"
- "before Del Rey gushes out,"
- "The recording features mild cursing, but is otherwise laced"
- Reference comments
References look good overall, but they need polish to be at a full standard.
- Coverage comments
I am afraid that this article is not complete. It misses a commercial performance section that can be perfectly created, as well as other information, such as how the song came into existence, the relation between this song, the EP it belongs to, and her previous work.
For these reasons, I'd have to fail the article: it fails 1(a) and possibly 1(b), as well as, in some sort, 3(a). Regards. — ΛΧΣ21 22:07, 21 December 2012 (UTC)
Sex on pinball machine
[edit]I don't care how many sources were cited; as far as 'sex on the pinball machine': she's just there in between the guy and the pinball machine. If you watch the video closely, you'll see the man is just forcibly hitting the paddles on the machine, like anyone playing pinball would do, not having sex. The sources are either stupid or trying to sensationalize the (already sensational) video. See for yourself! 71.139.160.140 (talk) 05:04, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
