Copyedit
[edit]Well, I've just copyedited this short article, but I still have a number of questions. I am not a manga/anime fan, so some of this article is confusing to me. Here are some examples of what I mean:
- "He started his career as professional manga writer by publishing works in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits.[6] He debuted in October 2001 with Nandodemo Roku Gatsu Jū San Hi..." Don't these two lines contradict each other? Where did he really get his start? Is "Nandodemo Roku Gatsu Jū San Hi" the name of his first work...? I really don't know.
- "...in the 14th and 15th issues of Weekly Shōnen Jump." What do you mean by "14th and 15th issues"? What, were they the 14th and 15th issues of that year? I can imagine they were the 14th and 15th of all time... I have the same problem with "the first issue of Weekly Young Jump.[22]"
- "To the launch of Eyeshield 21 anime he created the Kome Studio, a company of copyright management to ensure the right of the original creators of manga.[19]" ... "To the launch of" doesn't make sense to me.
I don't know. Hope I helped at least a little... Bobnorwal (talk) 18:47, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, you helped. About your concerns:
- No, it's not contradictory. He started by publishing works in Big Comic Spirits; this works are Nandodemo Roku Gatsu Jū San Hi, Square Freeze and Love Love Santa.
- "In 2002, they published two one-shots called Eyeshield Part 1 (前編 Zenpen?) and Part 2 (後編 Kōhen?) in the 14th and 15th issues of Weekly Shōnen Jump." The issues are from 2002, and I think it's clear. However, If you couldn't understand I assume other people can't understand too. So, if you can help me to clarify it, I'll be glad.
- Changed to "For the release".
Can you help me again, @Bobnorwal:? Gabriel Yuji (talk) 15:19, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
