Woodstock, Georgia

[edit]

As I look at the naming of other school articles on Wikipedia, I see the naming practice is more commonly like XXXX High School (State-name). As examples, you can see: Cherokee High School (Georgia), Etowah High School (Georgia), Sequoyah High School (Georgia), Woodstock High School (Georgia). Exceptions to this common practice include Creekview High School (Canton, Georgia) and River Ridge High School (Woodstock, Georgia). There's really no need for the city name to be part of the title. If you compare the disambiguation page Cherokee High School (for instance) with others, the "school name (state)" format seems to be most common across Wikipedia. By contrast, the disambiguation page Creekview High School shows 2 school names with the "city, state" suffix. To fudge the system on the River Ridge High School disambiguation page, a redirect page was created with the state suffix and added to that disambig page. If no one feels this is a controversial renaming, I am willing to move/rename the article. If it is controversial, we can discuss it here. Thoughts, anyone?
