I started this article, while correcting the article "Robert Robinson (Baptist)", which mistakenly confused the two contemporary Robert Robinsons, and included much of the information on Robert Robinson (Dissenting minister) which I copied over to this article.
The article summarises material in the cited works published in the eighteenth and ninteenth centuries, all of which are in the public domain.
The subject is not historically important, except perhaps to the three Nonconformist he served. The main purpose for the article is to distance him from Robert Robinson (Baptist) of Cambridge. Robert Robinson (Dissenting minister) seems not to have been a particularly distinguished figure, and the length of the article gives him more notice than he deserves.
