Content dispute

On 20 May 2014, I boldly removed two sections from this article: the "Notable underground bands"and the "Dail bands at Someplace Else, Kolkata" sections. The "Notable underground bands" sections was removed because none of the bands were verifiably notable with the exception of Calcutta Blues, which is already listed in a different section. I deleted the "Daily bands..." section because it blatant spam that has no place in a Wikipedia article.

On 21 May 2014, AkhilKumarPal (talk · contribs) reverted my edit without an edit summary.

In the spirit of WP:BRD, I am bringing the issue here for resolution. I invite Akhil to explain why xe believes this material should be retained in this article. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 17:14, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Based on Akhil's deletion of my invitation to join this discussion, I will proceed on the assumption that xe has no interest in doing so, and therefore will restore my version of the page. WikiDan61^ChatMe!_ReadMe!! 13:48, 23 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
