Initial comments

[edit]
  • "Miguel initially conceived the song inspired by the singer herself" - who is this referring to?
  • "Many critics considered it to be one of the steamiest clips" - steamiest? What does this mean? Could it be denoted?
  • "It was shot at The Standard, High Line hotel in black-and-white" - this should say it was filmed in New York City, just for reference
  • "It was produced by Beyoncé, Timbaland and Harmon, with the singer also serving as the song's vocal producer" - who is this talking about? Beyonce?
  • ""Rocket" is a six-and-a-half-minute track" - I think per WP:MOS, this can be read just as fine without the hyphens
  • "particularly on his song "Untitled (How Does It Feel)" (2000)" - the 2000 date doesn't need to be there in that instance, unless that is actually the name of the song?
  • "The room was a 400 ft2 (37 m2) apartment." - is this part really relevant?
  • The last paragraph in the Music video section appears to be formed of what critics thought about the music video itself, would it be more appropriate to merge this or rename it into the reception section?
  • You think that the quote in the Critical reception section should be in a quotation template?

On hold

[edit]

Sorry for the delay and also the short review, this is one of those articles that are generally well written enough not to have a a lot of prose issues in them, so the comments above are relatively minor and can be addressed. I'll put this on hold for the standard seven days, thanks Jaguar 16:22, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is a very nice article and it's very worthy of meeting the criteria, can anybody take this? It would be a shame to close it. Jaguar 15:05, 23 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I am so sorry to do this, and I really hate doing it, but seeing as the review is inactive and I've asked a few people if they were willing to take on the minor comments, but had no luck. Seeing as the prose issues would not be that much of a problem, if anybody can pick this review up and ask me to do it again, I would quick-pass it if all appeared as well as it is now.
