"Democratic" versus "Democratic Farmer Labor"
[edit]This article is about a politician within Minnesota state government. The Democratic Farmer Labor party is the state affiliate of the national Democratic party and is almost entirely referred to as Democratic Farmer Labor or DFL (DFL'er) within the state. On some occasion, federal politicians elected within Minnesota may be referred to as Democratic and not DFL but that is almost entirely within national media coverage and not an encyclopedic reference. Within Minnesota, even those politicians are most often referred to as DFL or DFL'er. 2601:447:C780:5D12:98AF:9DF4:D155:8A4D (talk) 04:31, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
