Name of the article in light of the new TV series

[edit]

To me, Ronja, the Robber's Daughter (2024 TV series) is the Ronja TV series. This other one here is the anime. Feels wrong what this article is currently called "Ronja, the Robber's Daughter (TV series)", while the other one "Ronja, the Robber's Daughter (2024 TV series)".

By the way, there is also a miniseries version of the 1984 film. In Swedish, the word "miniseries" is not very common (certainly not in the 80s), so that would also, normally, be called a tv-serie ("TV series", "TV show"). Torr3 (talk) 22:38, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I guess, though, that I'm a bit biased towards the newer one because it is a Swedish production and I am a Swedish speaker. It feels more "official", I guess. My guess is also that it is closer in spirit towards the book and also to the first adaption, which had Astrid's approval. Torr3 (talk) 22:47, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Of course the two shows should be disambiguated Ronja, the Robber's Daughter (2014 TV series) and Ronja, the Robber's Daughter (2024 TV series). Look at log history and you'll see I page moved this a couple of weeks ago. Tell User:TechnoSquirrel69 to undo their irritatingly needless revert of my page move. Thank you User:Amakuru for taking your valuable time to redo the work that User:TechnoSquirrel69 so needlessly destroyed by assuming I was some kind of clueless vandal instead of a constructive Wikipedian. If more people edited like you and fewer like them, Wikipedia would be a better place! Again thanks CapnZapp (talk) 06:09, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
