Merger?

[edit]

Well whoever put this up for merging didn't make a discussion here. So yeah, merge Reise, Reise Vol.2 into Rosenrot. The info there is relevant to the creation of Rosenrot. - Vicer 09:38, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

no merge, two seperate things, one was a proposed album, one is a different album, with some 'leftover' songs from the proposed album Fethroesforia 20:08, 21 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i agree with Vicer for a merge - Ella 03:35, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think the merge thing should be removed since there's no such thing as Reise, Reise Vol.2 anymore Iaberis 14:23, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. I removed it! Iaberis 14:25, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Contradiction

[edit]

Some of the song descriptions contain a few oddities (and, sadly, no references). For instance, the article about "Mann gegen Mann" states that "The song is critical of societies' close minded attitudes towards homosexuality and contains many metaphors about homosexuality.", whereas in this article one can read "The song is simply about the subject of homosexuality and seems to avoid taking sides". These statements are obviously totally contradictory, which means that one of them is incorrect and needs to be rectified. After taking a quick look at a translation, it appears that the song does take sides (e.g.: "My family calls me a traitor/I am the nightmare of all fathers"). Fair use rationale for Image:Rosenrot.jpg

[edit]

Image:Rosenrot.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 10:42, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccuracies

[edit]

Catalina Lavric is a real person and rather younger than Khira Li Lindemann, quite apart from the two looking absolutely nothing alike, so I am removing that odd claim. I already removed it from the single page (the video description there seems to be nearly completely taken from this article).NadjaCS 21:58, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Album art, anyone?

[edit]

Hi, I think there should be some info on the album art. Does anybody have info on the ice breaker vessel seen on the packaging. And I noticed Neuschwanstein Castle on it too. Stingray 21:37, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Track description

[edit]

Who deleted the track descriptions? It was far more informative and interesting before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.13.70.12 (talk) 20:23, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

They were removed because they were all unreliably sourced or not sourced at all, or they were original research. This is against Wikipedia's policies. Some information could be added back in time, but it will take diligent effort. --Jacob Talk 21:19, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
