I'll take on this review. --Starstriker7 - public(talk) 01:21, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Criterion 1

[edit]
  • Wouldn't it make sense to also give the Russian name of the ship in the first line of the lead?
    • Done.
  • In the Design and description section: "but her endurance is unknown." - Wikilink endurance.
    • Article on refers to animal or human endurance.
  • In the Service section: "in front of the mizzenmast" - Can you wikilink mizzenmast?
    • Done
  • In the Service section: "served with the Mine School at Kronstadt" - Can you wikilink Mine School at Kronstadt?
    • No article to link to for the mine school, but I've linked to Kronstadt.
      • Red links aren't a bad thing. Perhaps someone will take advantage of the red link later. --Starstriker7 - public(talk) 03:17, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
        • I'm not sure that enough info exists to make even a stub as I've barely heard of it. Plus I'd be reluctant to do so without knowing the school's formal name.

Criterion 2

[edit]
  • "probably as a result of poor water flow to the rudder" - can you cite this?
    • Already cited a sentence later.

Criterion 3

[edit]
  • I'm not going to hold you to this for GA's sake, but can you elaborate on how Ne Tron Menia sank during World War II? Also, is there a reason why she was not put back into service after being salvaged?
    • Source doesn't specify cause for loss, nor reason for scrapping. OR, probably too old to be worth repairing.

Criterion 4

[edit]

The article meets neutrality criteria.

Criterion 5

[edit]

Looks stable, based on the page's revision history.

Criterion 6

[edit]
  • Why is there a picture of Pervenets on this article? I recommend that you either remove the picture, or you tweak the caption to make the picture more relevant to the article.

Overall comments

[edit]

Nice work, Sturmvogel. This was a really interesting read. I would never have guessed anyone would name a ship for a Bible verse. You should've submitted this to DYK. :D

In any case, there's not much work left between Ne Tron Menia's current state and GA status. Once again, good work; I'm putting this on hold until the few comments are addressed. --Starstriker7 - public(talk) 01:40, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
