The result of the move request was: moved to Ryan D'Arcy. (non-admin closure) Regards, Krishna Chaitanya Velaga (talk • mail) 14:36, 19 September 2016 (UTC)
Ryan C.N. D'Arcy → Dr. Ryan D'Arcy – He is always known as Dr. Ryan D'Arcy as he is a neuroscientist and always referenced as so in his research, news articles, etc. The previous C.N. initials was also making it difficult for search engines to find this wiki page so hoping that by taking out his initials, which he doesn't use anyway, it would help with online searches. - Comment: The inclusion of "Dr." in the proposed title would violate WP:TITLESINTITLES unless there is evidence that it would be "used to form the unambiguous name by which the subject is clearly best known". Otherwise, I have no objection to rename this to Ryan D'Arcy as it appears to be the common name most often used in the cited sources. Zzyzx11 (talk) 05:22, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- Move to Ryan D'Arcy under WP:COMMONNAME. Of course we don't use academic titles in article titles. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:02, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- Move to Ryan D'Arcy per WP:COMMONNAME. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:04, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
