San Juan, Puerto Rico metropolitan area → San Juan–Caguas–Guaynabo metropolitan area – The correct name according to the United States Census Bureau who defined Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). The requested move is to maintain consistency with many other similar and related pages as for example Aguadilla–Isabela–San Sebastián metropolitan area and Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area to name a couple, though not all articles follow this patern.
The article is about the San Juan–Caguas–Guaynabo metropolitan area (San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo Metropolitan Statistical Area) comprising forty-one (41) municipalities, covering approximately half of the island.
The San Juan, Puerto Rico metropolitan area (Article in Spanish Wikipedia) comprises the immediate five (5) surrounding municipalities of Bayamón, Carolina, Cataño, Guaynabo, and Trujillo Alto. Moebiusuibeom-en (talk) 01:33, 6 October 2016 (UTC)
- Support – the current title with its unbalanced comma is crazy, and the proposed one is not. Dicklyon (talk) 03:25, 6 October 2016 (UTC)

- Support. I note there have been a number of undiscussed moves already, but this is a definite improvement and should give stability. Long term it would be good to also have an article on the smaller area of Bayamón, Carolina, Cataño, Guaynabo, and Trujillo Alto, but there is no justification for a split of the present material. - The San Juan–Caguas–Guaynabo metropolitan area (contrary to the actual San Juan metropolitan area) is mainly a statistical area, it comprises mostly of rural areas, where it may take several hours to travel from point to point on mostly highways and rural mountainous country roads, it has absolutely no relation to the contigous San Juan Metropolitan Area, which wields absolutely no influence over the region.
