"New Mexicans" bothers me here because there was no "New Mexico" when these events occured . Since the US had not annexed this territory at the time that these fights took place I think it is appropriate to just call the insurgents "Mexicans." Though calling them "insurgents" works too. Any feelings on the subject? Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 01:22, 20 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In what year does this 'battle' take place? I looked in what I thought would be a pretty obvious place - the 'battle' section, but it only gave the date (February 1). The best I can find is one of the references The History of the Military Occupation of the Territory of New Mexico from 1846 to 1851. But no specific year. RASAM (talk) 22:12, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
