No Hospital nearby

[edit]

There is no Hospital near the Institute of communications according to Google Maps. Only a Museum. 95.91.249.178 (talk) 09:45, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Some hundred meters northwards from the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technologies is the Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital ☆☆☆—PietadèTalk 10:04, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Added correct location of the Institute in this infobox (the upper map), source: Slavyangrad[1]
Most of the Soviet points of permanent deployment of military units had a medical center. This is a standard — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.210.248.204 (talk) 08:16, 5 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

More to it?

[edit]

There are rumours (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujBiKFoHLo0) that days after this, several machines with body bags were flown to Ramstein. Also, that the actual number of dead was 200+, and Sweden lost defense system specialists. What references are there in the media? SCIdude (talk) 13:45, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To the record, there are many instances of Ukrainian Civil and Military officials updating the toll of past attacks. For example the Desna missile attack initially left less than 70 killed rwported but after some months the final number rose to 132 killed and missing, because many missing soldiers remains were never found or identified. For the number of wounded of this certain case (+300) its more likely than in the next months and years the toll could rise(Dead by wounds or missing). Take into account that Poltava missile strike was a double tap attack.Mr.User200 (talk) 17:53, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Terminology of casualties

[edit]

Just by reading this article, there's no way to tell that the casualties were all military personnel. The article only refers to 'people'. I'm not sure whether it'd be proper to call them soldiers outright (they were in training, might have been cadets), but it definitely needs to be specified that they were uniformed military personnel and not civilians. Compare articles for the Makiivka barracks shelling (directly uses the term 'Russian troops' in the lede) or the Camp Speicher massacre (directly lists the casualties as 'Iraqi cadets').
