American Top 40

Comment on the number of listeners per week: Someone had written "citation needed" next to the figure of 1 billion listeners per week. Boy, I'll say a citation is needed. I actually went so far as to delete that, because while I don't deny that a lot of people used to listen to his show, the idea that he had a billion listeners is patently ridiculous. People used to throw out the number of 1 billion viewers for the Oscars - also a totally absurd, nonsensical figure (go do a websearch on it if you don't believe me) - but there was no truth to that figure and there's even less to this one. -- HowardW Feb 10, 2008 12:22pm —Preceding comment was added at 17:22, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it again - it is clearly nonsense. 81.142.107.230 (talk) 13:52, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Steve Allen show??

[edit]

how could he have been an announcer and sidekick on THE STEVE ALLEN SHOW (1956 - 1960) after he moved to Southern California in 1970?? Even if he was on the first Steve Allen show, he would've been 13 years old?? This article needs some serious fact-checking. -- David Spalding (  ) 01:16, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Shadoevision

[edit]

Although obscure, there is no mention of the 1986 TV film “Shadoevision” in Shadoe’s acting career. This film was an important transition point in Shadoe’s career, moving from his ad work for Federated to acting roles in film and television. 174.0.226.60 (talk) 06:57, 25 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
