Name change

The article mentions a name change from "Boyna-qara" to "Sholgara" and cites the "Pashtunisation policy of Vazir Muhammadgul Mohmand", however this appears on its surface to be axe-grinding since there is no article on "Pashtunization policy" or "Vazir Muhammadgul Mohmand". Possibly "Vazir Muhammadgul Mohmand" is the same as Muhammad Gul Khan Mohmand (1885-1964), but this is not entirely clear. In the Zahir Shah and His Uncles, 1933-1953 section of the Reigns of Nadir Shah and Zahir Shah article it says: "Hashim [[[Sardar Mohammad Hashim Khan]]] also started the Pashtunization of Afghanistan. He selected Gul Muhammad Khan Mohmand as his new advisor for the northern regions and started distributing northern lands to Pashtuns who supported his brother, Nader Khan. The schools were forced to teach in Pashto and government officials and workers were forced to attend Pashto courses daily or their salaries would be cut." This is supported by a non-pinpoint citation to: Mir Ghulam Muhammad Ghobar, P: "Afghanistan dar maseer Tarikh". Since there are English language sources for the history of Afghanistan, and the bias, if any, of the non-English language sources here cannot adequately be established, it would be better to be neutral in the presentation of the name change. At 03:11, 30 January 2008, YousufzaySwati56, believed to be a sockpuppet of Ben-nam, removed, without comment, the "contested" link that points here. I placed that pointer in lieu of removing potentially controversial material. Does anyone have an English language source here? Almost 2 years, but no reliable sources were provided. The second source [1] is of a map which is showing that Boyna Qara is a village/town/place in Badakhshan Province. As requested by Bejnar, either an English source or an English translation of a non-English source should be provided. (Ketabtoon (talk) 06:40, 10 November 2009 (UTC))

Jeribs

IP editor 125.213.193.133 added under Notes "Please be advised that a jerib (Afghanistan) of land is only 1/5 of a hectare, they are not synonymous as noted in your text." which is correct, see, e.g. http://www.convertunits.com/from/jerib/to/hectare (a jerib is slightly less than 1/2 an acre). The original data from the UNHCR District Profile, listed as a reference, provided the incorrect equivalency. I have corrected the text. In passing I noted that "jerib" does not have an entry in the OED; I checked both the on-line version and the old 1st edition paper. Although the word was used in an English language publication as early as 1856 (de Bode, Clement Augustus (1856) "On the Races of the Southern Shores of the Caspian Sea" Journal of the Ethnological Society of London (1848-1856), Vol. 4, pp. 155-175, page 160.) --Bejnar (talk) 17:49, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
