Eduard d'Alton
[edit]Strictly speaking Eduard d'Alton mentioned in the article is a Germanization of Edward D'Alton (aka Edward Count D'Alton) of Ireland. He was one of many Irishmen who fought in the continental armies (possibly because being Catholic they were not permitted to be officers in the British army at that time). The German wikipedia lists him as a brother of Richard D'Alton (incorrectly, they were I understand cousins not brothers) and has short articles for both (the Italian wikipedia has a longer article for Richard D'Alton). --Erp (talk) 07:17, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
Missing reference
[edit]This is a pretty good article but there is a problem with one reference. "Burne" is cited numerous times but there is no author Burne listed in the list of references. Djmaschek (talk) 03:49, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
