[edit]Shouldn't this be at Action of 28 July 1861 per our usual method? Srnec (talk) 18:37, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
- No, using the "Action of..." title is technically inappropriate in view of wiki standards. I created dozens of those articles, including the Action of 17 February 1864 (which was renamed by someone), so I try not to use that method anymore. I was thinking that maybe this article could be called USS St. Lawrence vs Petrel like several naval battles are in the War if 1812 and the Quasi War. Although this was a completely one sided engagement. If you think that would be acceptable I will rename it, I always like to have another editor's consent before I make changes like this. I chose the "Sinking of ...." way because I know there are many other articles on wiki named like that. Thanks for the concern.--$1LENCE D00600D (talk) 23:29, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
