Photo

[edit]

Maybe we could get a photo showing the active (rather than the back) side of the male half of the snap. — President Lethe 02:09, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm about to add some photos of all the different little bits and pieces as well as one type of tool for sticking them together. Nate Wessel (talk) 04:12, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It would be nice if we found a reputable source about the history as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ben.iza.beast (talkcontribs) 01:00, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The photo seems OK to me. If not I'd be happy to provide one. Fritz Jörn (talk) 09:57, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Repair?

[edit]

Does anybody have a clever idea how loose snap fasterners can be made to stick together better? Pls. reply to Fritz at Joern com --Fritz Jörn (talk) 09:57, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pull it and install a new one. Nate Wessel (talk) 04:10, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Baby clothing

[edit]

Snap fasteners are used a lot on baby clothing for safety reasons: draw cords, laces, zips and buttons all have safety issues. I think it would be worth mentioning this and perhaps, also, how Velcro has seen a fall in usage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.155.42.138 (talk) 22:06, 2 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
