Thanks to noreplyhaha for contributing to the background and tracklist sections of this page.

By the way, continue to update this page as Stump releases new info and makes changes to his website: http://www.patrickstump.com/ Hcollin (talk) 10:38, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Label

[edit]

Is the Island/Fueled By Ramen/Decaydance label confirmed? I'm confused at how there can be 3 labels for an album. Later Fall Out Boy albums had these 3 labels too, so how does it work? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noreplyhaha (talkcontribs) 00:17, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Most Fall Out Boy albums have three labels attached to them. Decaydance is essentially a branch of Fueled by Ramen. Island Records is usually written on the spine of the album. Pat Stump will probably be the same. Hcollin (talk) 04:44, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If this is the case, under which record company does Fall Out Boy work for, and own the copyrighted material? Decaydance isn't an imprint of Fueled By Ramen anymore, it's an independent record label.

Genre

[edit]

We need a consensus on the genre of Soul Punk. However, as only two versions of a song have been heard, the genre cannot be accurately determined. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noreplyhaha (talkcontribs) 08:28, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It will be hard to determine Patrick Stump's genre until he releases his full album. 59.100.102.143 (talk) 09:54, 12 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup

[edit]

As of July 2011, this article really goes all over the place. This isn't an insult to anyone it just has to do with misplaced references, scrambled information, etc. Any major cleanup efforts to make it read more like a professional Wikipedia article with less random dates and unimportant snippets would help.--Freaky Face Films (talk) 21:00, 18 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Background

[edit]

The background is too much about Fall Out Boy. while it could be considered necessary to include information about their hiatus, and Stump's previous affiliation with the band, the details of their past albums and work is distracting from Stump's independence with this release.

I think you're right, it does distract from Stump's independence. Just a little bit about their history and success might help to show where he came from and that he didn't appear out of no where. On the internet there's such a massive heap of articles that I can't even read them all, so much stuff vital for this page but I'm not able to write a GA-level page though. I've bookmarked so many of them, there's a heap of credible links on brue.tumblr.com (someone's blog) and a Google News search of Patrick Stump there's currently 7 pages of information.
