diagrams would help

[edit]

Could we have some diagrams to show what was originally developed, and what types are now available, and to show if spherical bearings are the same as ball and cup bearings as distinct from ball and socket joints. - Rod57 (talk) 01:42, 20 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Separate spherical roller bearing from spherical plain bearing?

[edit]

Wouldn't it make sense to separate spherical roller bearings from spherical plain bearings? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hugonet (talkcontribs) 18:50, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Examples of spherical applications.

[edit]

I was just told by dji that the mini series of their drones use spherical bearings in the rotors. Most people know if dji drones, so I thought that might interest readers. Also, fun fact, the dji bearing build friction when being transported and just needs to be hand rotated for a while for the bearing to free up. Davemody (talk) 18:17, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
