Provision Shop

[edit]

I have no idea if the information on the provision shop is accurate. It was added by an IP, but it was only bad grammar not obvious vandalism. I cleaned up the text. Shadowin 06:05, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I delted it and it is spam. Mlpkr 23:13, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I believe they should be merged and we do not need another page for temple.

Name of the place

[edit]

It is horrible to hear or the name of the place as "kalahasti." it should always be "srikalahasti" as it derives from the names of the three animals, which have been given salvaltion at the place, namely spider, snake and an elephant.we cannot seperate an important constituent of the name of the town like that.it would state only two animals instead of three, and we cannot ignore the very first part of the name, and animal. official name is "srikalahasti," and it has to be. native, unlearned and lazy people have been using it as "kalahasti." i think you better understand by this example; it should be called "new york," calling "york" certainly would be impropable. i think you notice it, and hope you will not entertain it again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 202.65.134.34 (talk) 12:00, 18 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

ok, changed the name to Srikalahasti in entire article. Mentioned the informal name only in the leadin section as alternative name, otherwise search engines will not find it. mlpkr 02:44, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup of recent changes

[edit]

The article needs to follow the guidelines of WP:INCITIES. I rephrased newly added sentences without loosing information and removing personal opinions like( kalahasti is no exception). I also did not understand why parliment constituency information is removed and so I brought it back. "See also" gives details of other related articles. Festivlas should be part of culture and so I moved them there. Listing movie theatre names brings lot more names that do not add value to article, so I simply mentioned their presence. mlpkr 02:35, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion

[edit]

I am trying to expand the article according the to the above guidelines. I request peer reviews from the other participants. I have already added some content in Education section. Have a look at it.My aim is to see this article as a featured one. --రవిచంద్ర (talk) 07:07, 3 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
