I'd imagine this page is a bit less useful now that India is listed alphabetically by school name, rather than broken down by province. There are an aweful lot of St. Xavier's High Schools to sift through. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 08:39, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

This information is actually a list rather than a disambiguation, since there are so many links to non-existent articles. Until these articles have been written, Mxn suggested that we copy the list here for safekeeping, in order to streamline the disambiguation page. I liked the idea, so I am being bold. The following is the list as it appears today:

India:

United States:

Elsewhere:

This list currently includes some blue links, but mostly red ones. If any of the missing articles are created in the future, please add them back on the dab page! SlackerMom 13:35, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, it looks much better! – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 05:41, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've added asterisks to indicate articles still listed at St. Xavier (disambiguation). – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 21:43, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interconnection of disambiguation pages

[edit]

In the interest of avoiding confusion for future editors, I'm adding the following notes...There are three interconnected dab pages related to the main article, St. Francis Xavier. They are Xavier, St. Xavier (disambiguation), and St. Francis Xavier (disambiguation). I have sorted the dab links based on the actual names used by the schools which are listed. Therefore, if only the name Xavier is used, the link appears on the Xavier page. If the name used is St. Xavier or some variation (Saint Xavier, St. Xavier's), then it goes on St. Xavier (disambiguation). If the name includes St. and Francis and Xavier or Xavier's, then it appears on St. Francis Xavier (disambiguation). I have also changed all redirects to follow this convention. The two dab pages with Saint in the title both have a link in the intro line to St. Francis Xavier (main article), and of course all the pages have links to each other under See also.
