Factual error in this article
[edit]My wife is Mr. Benet's granddaughter, and this structure is not the "only major surviving structure" associated with his life. He purchased a summer home in Stonington, Connecticut, known as the Amos Palmer House (Amos Palmer House (Stonington, Connecticut), which still stands and is kept in very good condition by the current owners.
