Stern is a notable author who has won several awards. He is an important figure in modern Jewish Literature and also a historian of a dying Yiddish culture. His works have been published extensively and he is a prominent figure in the Jewish literary community.

How come I've never heard of him then? Lunakeet 16:04, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you aren't interested in Jewish folkore and myth? There are several authors renowned in their genres/oeuvres that I haven't heard of either, but nevertheless they are highly esteemed and celebrated by that community. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mitchmar (talkcontribs) 16:09, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good point. I should go to my temple library, quick search. Lunakeet 16:18, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So why is it that this article is still up for deletion? What can I do to keep it around? I don't get it... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.165.35.207 (talk) 00:21, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This page was edited extensively by accounts that are obviously connected to his publisher
