I removed this link from the "External links" section, but it appears to be a reliable source so I'm posting it here if anybody wants to use it to cite the article.
Redcarpetstage, as I mentioned on your talk page, there is clear evidence that a freelancer was hired to edit this page just before your contribution, and you did exactly what was outlined in the job posted on Upwork. I have already shared the details with ArbCom, and although there is a backlog, the evidence suggests a strong case of WP:PAID and WP:SOCK. Therefore, I recommend that anyone reviewing their request consider putting it on hold until the case is opened. Thank you. GSS💬04:18, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I requested that you post a link to the Upwork post, but it hasn't been done. This seems to be a coincidence. Additionally, I am not making any edits myself to the page as you have requested; I am submitting edits with a COI request to meet your requirements. What is the problem now? Why do you keep bullying me??? Redcarpetstage (talk) 04:24, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I can't keep repeating the same thing, so consider this my final message. I can't share the link publicly as it could violate WP:OUTING. ArbCom has all the details and will be reviewing everything carefully. At one point, you claim you don't have a conflict of interest, yet you submit requests using the COI template. Moreover, your eagerness to publish promotional content suggests a COI. If you weren't paid, you wouldn't be so invested in this. The issue is not just UPE; it's also a case of socking, so let someone from ArbCom reach out to you accordingly. Thank you. GSS💬04:33, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I invested a lot of time researching this subject and didn't want my efforts to go to waste, so I decided to post edit request on the talk page under COI. Even if you believe I have a COI, I am not breaking any rules when I do not post the edits directly, so please stop harassing me. You do not have the authority to order me to stop editing completely, as that can only happen by the admins and if an investigation concludes that I have violated policies. By posting these edits under COI, I am ensuring that I am not breaking any rules. I would appreciate it if you didn't hold this stubborn attitude towards me. My name is Randall, and I work for Steve Tappin. Before I hired the paid editor that you blocked, I had made some posts on the talk page, which you can see in my history, so you can confirm that I am not him coming back here with a new account. I have disclosed my conflict of interest (COI) on my talk page and would try to comply with all policies as best as I can due to my limited knowledge.
I apologise for my lack of understanding of how Wikipedia works and for relying on the paid editor to follow all policies, which they evidently did not. Could you please re-enable the edit requests on the talk page that you removed, or let me know how I can resubmit them? Fuzzsoth (talk) 11:49, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Fuzzsoth: As I can see, the freelancer is still hired, and I wouldn't be surprised if, just like with their other clients, they are instructing you to follow up on their work. This is a violation of WP:SOCK. GSS💬15:03, 13 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered.
Add this to the end of the Intro as the 3rd and 4th paragraph paragraph:
Tappin is also an expert on China and a consultant to both Chinese leaders and Western companies in China.[7][10] He also co-authored Dream to Last - Secrets of Chinese CEOs.[6][8]
He was the host of the BBC television series CEO Guru, where he interviewed CEOs of the largest and fastest growing companies.[9]
In 2013, Tappin became host of the BBC business programme, CEO Guru.[9][20] The show was aired internationally on BBC World News.[9][20] The program included short films on the topic of management[21] and web articles on BBC websites.[22] As part of the program Tappin interviewed business figures such as Richard Branson,[23] John Mackey,[24] and Guo Guangchang.[25] In addition, Tappin documented the China Entrepreneur Club, a club made up of China’s top business leaders, for the BBC TV documentary China’s Billionaires’ Club.[32]
