I think "styrene-butadiene rubber" is better name for this page than "styrene-butadiene" because "SBR" is the abbreviation of styrene-butadiene rubber. I propose to change the name from "styrene-butadiene" to "styrene-butadiene rubber". Yuta Aoki 10:41, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

SBR vs SBS

[edit]

I have deleted refs which relate to SBS copolymers rather than SBR elastomer, which is quite different! The former are TPE's while the latter is a conventional vulcanised system.Peterlewis (talk) 17:07, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Resistance to petroleum?

[edit]

Some mention should be made of SBR's resistance to petroleum products, especially in contrast (I assume) with natural rubber. BMJ-pdx (talk) 00:08, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Image problem

[edit]

As most of the atoms involved in this molecule are carbon, the image should depict a carbon skeleton model without explicit carbon atoms present in the structure for ease of viewing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.114.255.15 (talk) 23:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
