Name?

[edit]

Crusaders were called "Franks" in Arabic ... so does his name mean crusader? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.59.122.252 (talk) 02:35, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

warlord?

[edit]

he probably was a warlord, but none of the other figures from the lebanese civil war are referred to as warlords on their wikipedia pages. either a number of others should be referred to as such, or that word should be removed from this article.

for example, you could find support for calling jumblatt a warlord: http://articles.cnn.com/2008-10-28/world/november.ime_1_olive-harvest-olive-oil-olive-tree?_s=PM:WORLD

or geagea: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4693091.stm

or arafat: http://www.palestinereport.ps/article.php?article=567

etc...
