- "and Singapore.[1][2][3] Sumatra" those refs can just go into the relevant sentence(s) of the main body where the same ideas are discussed and evolved.
- I think I would put Effects before Frequency, in the main part of the article. Start with "what is a Sumatra squall" then "what does it do" and then "life cycle" and then "how often does this occur".
- Are there any lists of "records" of such squalls, in terms of wind speeds, rain, damage, fatalities etc?
- I haven't managed to find any statistics summarising any of these... I suppose Meteorological Service Singapore keeps records since Lo and Orton got their data from them, but they definitely aren't publicly available. I've searched keywords in Bahasa Melayu too, and I did find a recent incident in Malaysia that killed a few people. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 13:42, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
- "Less squalls are" Fewer squalls.
- "Madden–Julian oscillation " doesn't have a captial O.
- "to a comma echo as " as that's a red link, it could use a footnote to explain what it is. Or better, an article!
- I reworded that sentence to explain what bow and comma echoes were. I'm not sure if there's enough info for a standalone article on comma echoes, so I went and redirected it to Bow echo#Book end vortices which explains their formation. ~ KN2731 {talk · contribs} 13:42, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
- "in the Quarterly Journal" that should be in italics.
That's all I have. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 17:56, 6 September 2021 (UTC)
