@Qstor: the DVD cover art is still copyrighted and owned by the distributor/production company/original artist, whether or not you take a photo or upload based on an online copy. You cannot upload such images to Wikimedia Commons, which hosts freely licensed images. — Bilorv (talk) 23:45, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
