Is it true that Comtour, Germany was bought by TUI????

Quick note, Sebastian Ebel is no longer a "key person" at TUI AG. I'd update the main page myself but I work here ;)

Fair use rationale for Image:TUI logo.png

[edit]

Image:TUI logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Move

[edit]

Would it be better to rename this article as TUI Group now that it has merged with TUI Travel and confirmed its new name and logo? It would also sit better in the FTSE 100 article and template rather than TUI AG. Cloudbound (talk) 22:30, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed and done. Best wishes. Dormskirk (talk) 22:35, 17 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing

[edit]

The TUI Group page is highly unsourced. The description in the airlines table should be sourced, I am currently making a table for Tour Operators which will only contain material that is sourced and if a description is added, it must be sourced. TUI UK Limited

[edit]

TUI UK has quite significant history, which justifies it as a page. Does anyone object this? (Airline7375 (talk) 20:41, 15 January 2020 (UTC))[reply]

It needs to be notable in its own right and I am not sure that it would be notable. What were the main events in its history? Dormskirk (talk) 20:53, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

October 2023

[edit]

An editor had made some significant edits which involved adding significant amounts of unsourced material and removing the "controversies" section. I have removed the unsourced material (and also removed some other repetitive material on structure) and restored the "controversies" section. Dormskirk (talk) 22:31, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
