Dr Bhabha essay

[edit]

I removed the essay "Dr Bhabha as visionary and architect of TIFR and modern science in India" as it is original research and possibly a copyvio, not to mention that it wasn't about the Institute, but a person associated with it. Just to make sure that's clear. Junkyard prince 22:14, 31 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Re-write

[edit]

I'm re-writing the article to emphasize the "research institute" rather than the "university" aspect of TIFR. Still, I need some help with the research and academics sections. SPat talk 18:10, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am willing to help, but I really know nothing about this place. What kind of help do you need? Do you have a source which I could summarize and wikify? Blue Rasberry 23:51, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, thanks for the help. At present, the research section is not well balanced, and I think there needs to be a section about TIFR as a university. Further, the "Facilities" section needs to be re-written to include citations. There are several detailed references that can be used for this article. I've already extensively used this review article, and there are similar articles published by Tata and Sons and Frontline. There is also an article about the campus, to which I do not have access. Let me know if you find others!

Notable alumni

[edit]

Dr. Bhabha is mentioned as an alumni, but he was the founder. I am confused, shouldn't his name be removed? Manjil P. Saikia (talk) 11:42, 6 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
