The logo for TeenNick is wrong. The TEENick (block) logo is being shown instead of its current one. Please change this. --Radiokid1010 (talk) 18:57, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Like Nick Jr. (TV channel) has the Nick Jr. (block) logo, it doesn't mean that TeenNick could have the TEENick (block). That is not true. NewYorkCity101 (talk) 12:15, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cable Systems Shown

[edit]

The cable system channels on TeenNick is only for one market. In the Charlotte, NC Market, the cable system is Time Warner Cable; TeenNick is on Channel 208. Please change the cable stations to "Check local listings". —Preceding unsigned comment added by Yungshawty (talkcontribs) 18:06, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested merge

[edit]

I personally believe that since The N has officially been changed to TeenNick, the page should be merged into this article. Opinions?--Krazycev 13 23:21, 7 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am totally disagreeing with you. The N should stay as it's own article. NewYorkCity101 (talk) 16:32, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have an account, just giving my opinion. Since Viacom themselves stated that they were simply re-branding The N as TeenNick (it was done as a complete re-branding effort across all four Nickelodeon stations, in The N's case it was probably just to make it clear that the station is under the Nickelodeon umbrella of stations), and since a majority of the programming has remained unchanged, I think the articles should be merged, with either a new subsection for The N on the TeenNick article or maybe just a mention of it in the History section of the article. - --68.48.71.170 (talk) 16:54, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge reason because The N was just rebranded to TeenNick, it is still the same channel airing the same programming. It isn't a defunct channel it was just rebranded. It isn't like where VH1 Mega Hits closed and Logo took over its space. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 18:00, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
NYC101, can you be specific as to why it shouldn't be merged?--Krazycev 13 10:42, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Got bored yesterday and went through NYC's edits. He either has no idea how Wikipedia works, or knows EXACTLY how it works, and i using that to make everyone else as frustrated as possible. Either way I personally don't think his opinion matters. How exactly does one go about merging two articles? --68.48.71.170 (talk) 01:58, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To answer 68.48.71.170, you would simply switch The N to be a redirect to TeenNick. --Krazycev 13 other crap 19:23, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your wish has been granted. The N has been merged into TeenNick.Brainulator9 00:23, 9 December 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brainulator9 (talkcontribs)

Merge proposal #2

[edit]
Since the previous merge proposal was granted, "The N" and "TeenNick" have since been split back into separate articles. Again as other Wikipedia members have stated, the article should be merged with TeenNick, and be kept that way this time. The N simply rebranded as TeenNick in September 2009 to unify itself with parent channel Nickelodeon, it being a spinoff of a Nickelodeon spinoff channel. Television networks that have changed names, but have kept the same programming format should never have separate articles on Wikipedia. If a television network has ceased operations and another channel with a completely different brand identity and different programming directive replaces it on the same channel space, then they can have separate articles. TVtonightOKC (talk) 03:24, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I absolutely agree, The programming is pretty much the same under both channel names. I'm all for the merge. QuasyBoy (talk) 3:48, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
As matter of fact, OKC, it was an anon that undid the merge, I'll undo that person's edit now. QuasyBoy (talk) 3:57, 24 July 2010 (UTC)

Proposed merge of TEENick into TeenNick

[edit]

TEENick is an early manifestation of TeenNick. I suggest merge into history section at TeeNick. I note this is now the third proposed merge, suggesting there is some established consensus for it. Cheers, Polyamorph (talk) 20:44, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Endorse merge – our coverage of the programming block (TEENick) would be improved by properly contextualizing it in light of the alternative channel (TeenNick). signed, Rosguill talk 21:56, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support merge - I reverted a similar merge done last year based on the premise that the programming block was different from the channel (and the article set-up was similar to how Nick. Jr.'s separate network and programming block are handled in their articles). However, on second thought, I don't see any harm with merging them together since the programming block was essentially dropped when the network launched. The article on the programming block is pretty neglected so it would probably benefit from being merged together with the article on the television network. Teennick in Germany (Pluto TV)

[edit]

Why do you always delete the fact that Teennick is available as a channel on Pluto TV in Germany? I wouldn't basically add it if it isn't true. I'm able to receive Teennick on Pluto TV and the beginning of that channel was also delivered by Nick Germany. Teennick Brazil is also available on Pluto TV in Brazil. Why do you keep the information even though it broadcasts the channel through the application in Germany which's also available on Pluto TV? In addition, I'd like to get advice why you always delete it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2a02:810a:10c0:15ca:dc74:6550:db0e:a2c5 (talk)

TeenNick is still available in Latin America

[edit]

Bascially to summarise, TeenNick is still available in Latin America because the transition date got pushed-backed due to Paradise Run "premiering" there. They might transition to Nicktoons after the series finishes broadcast. I can't edit the page, so I would appreciate it if someone helps me to do so.
