A list of area codes in DPRK (partial)

[edit]

I came across a partial list of area codes in DPRK - I have no idea how recent/old it is, but most likely to be newer than 2004 (based on the listings under Nampho Special City)

Pyongyang 031?

[edit]

031 was previously allocated for the city of Phyongsong (Pyeongseong). Did they swap the numbers, i.e. did Phyongsong become 021? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amythewillowprincess (talkcontribs) 19:02, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Code11" and "Code12"

[edit]

I`m sorry, but who is know, what means "Code11" and "Code12" in "National Numbering Plan of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea"(http://www.itu.int/oth/T0202000036/en)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Capro-capro (talkcontribs) 13:25, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It appears the Code 11 and Code 12 are special types of "extensions" of sorts. " The code 11 signal is a particular combination provided by the signal code." "The code 12 signal is a particular combination provided by the signal code." ITU T-REC-Q.101-198811-I — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lgats (talkcontribs) 15:59, 3 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
